THE BEST CALL OF DUTY AIRSOFT ASSAULT RIFLES
Category: Product Guides

It really isn’t much of a secret that Call of Duty Warzone is by far one of the most popular First Person Shooter games on the market at the moment. Its Free-to-Play model attracts millions of unique players daily, and many gamers clamour in their masses over the foray of weaponry found within the game. Players will spend hours searching for the best guns on the internet in a bid to improve their gameplay.

With this in mind, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that within airsoft, many players will look towards games such as Call of Duty Warzone as inspiration for their latest purchase. Furthermore, with such a wide range of weaponry on offer in the game, there really is a plethora of choices when it comes to picking your favourite.

Within Call of Duty Warzone, Assault Rifles are favoured due to their varied effects. You have certain assault rifles which are highly mobile, like the FFAR 1 and the Groza, which allow you to traverse maps quickly and have high rates of fire. Others are more hard-hitting, such as the AK47 or the Oden, enabling you to despatch your enemies rapidly. Essentially, assault rifles all fit different roles within Warzone, and depending on your play style, will depend on your favourite assault rifle.

But what are the best options on the airsoft market to replicate your favourite Call of Duty Warzone Assault Rifles? This month we look at three popular choices both within Call of Duty Warzone and the airsoft world to help you make the right choice of airsoft guns!

M4A1

The M4 Carbine is a 5.56×45mm NATO, air-cooled, gas-operated, direct impingement, magazine-fed, select-fire carbine. It has a 14.5 in (370 mm) barrel and a telescoping stock. It is essentially a lighter and shorter variant of the M16A2 assault rifle.

The M4 is extensively used by the United States Armed Forces and is largely replacing the M16 rifle in United States Army and United States Marine Corps (USMC) combat units as the primary infantry weapon and service rifle. The M4 has been adopted by over 60 countries worldwide and has been described as “one of the defining firearms of the 21st century”.

OUR CHOICE – KING ARMS BLACK RAIN ORDNANCE M4 CARBINE AIRSOFT GUN

If we’re honest, the King Arms Black Rain Ordnance M4 Carbine just screams Call of Duty to us. This M4 AEG is equipped with 12″ MOD (Modular Rail System – KA-RAS-68) and Black Rain Ordnance style metal receiver. It is an outstanding airsoft gun, finished in factory blue, making it durable and UK legal without UKARA or other defence.

It also comes complete with a MOSFET to allow for changes to its rate of fire, among other things, a quick change motor and spring system and much, much more!

AK-47

The AK-47, officially known as the Avtomat Kalashnikova, is a gas-operated assault rifle that is chambered for the 7.62×39mm cartridge. Developed in the Soviet Union by Russian small-arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov, it is the originating firearm of the Kalashnikov (or “AK”) family of rifles. After more than seven decades, the AK-47 model and its variants remain the most popular and widely used rifles in the world.

The number “47” refers to the year the rifle was finished. Design work on the AK-47 began in 1945. It was presented for official military trials the following year in 1947, and, in 1948, the fixed-stock version was introduced into active service for selected units of the Soviet Army. In early 1949, the AK was officially accepted by the Soviet Armed Forces and used by the majority of the member states of the Warsaw Pact.

OUR CHOICE – BULLDOG AK47 SPORTLINE AIRSOFT GUN

This is a professional grade sportsline airsoft rifle from Bulldog Airsoft. This AK47 features both semi and fully automatic shooting modes with an impressive 600 RPM. The stock makes this Airsoft rifle usable in a variety of situations. Sportline rifles are designed for skirmishing; they are light and made of ABS plastic and deliver outstanding performance. With outstanding internals and a lightweight body, this gun is easy to carry all day at your next event.

XM4

Known as the XM-177 in the real world, this assault rifle was designed in 1966 in response to the US military’s desire for a compact M16 variant to improve on the inadequacies of earlier shortened M16 types.

The XM177 uses a unique flash hider, sometimes called a flash or sound moderator, for its 10-inch (250 mm) barrel. This device is 4.2 inches (110 mm) long and was designed to reduce – that is, to moderate – the excessive muzzle flash and report of such a short-barreled weapon down to something more comparable to the sound and flash produced by the 20-inch barreled M16 and M16A1 while simultaneously increasing gas pressure at the gas port and improving dwell time to improve the reliability of a weapon with such a short length of barrel past the gas port.

OUR CHOICE – WE KATANA M4A1 AIRSOFT GUN

While the XM4 may look like an M4, it’s a little different and is more like the CAR-15 XM177, or ‘Commando’ as it was previously designated in prior Call of Duty games. Our choice isn’t quite an XM177, but it emulates it well enough.

The katana series from WE airsoft are extremely well-performing airsoft AEGs. These airsoft rifles are built with outstanding quality from high-quality metal components. The katana series features colour coded power cylinders, which can easily be changed by the user. These different power cylinders are available separately and allow the user to easily meet the power requirements of different skirmish sites by doing very little work on the airsoft rifle.
