John Wick is a 2014 action thriller starring Keanu Reeves as the title character, a retired hitman who seeks vengeance against a mobsters son and his cronies for stealing his car and killing his puppy, a final gift from his deceased wife. John Wick Chapter 2 is the 2017 sequel where Keanu Reeves returns as the title character coming out of retirement when rivals attempt to take over a criminal syndicate.
