We accept orders for Airsoft Guns and BB Guns plus Airsoft Accessories only on the basis that you have read and understood our terms and conditions.

Just BB Guns is owned and operated by Trimex UK Ltd in partnership with Visual Shop Ltd. All payments are excepted by Trimex UK Ltd and all product warranties and any other perches agreements are with Trimex UK Ltd, Registered Company Number 04501515

THE LAW REGARDING AIRSOFT BB GUNS

From 01/10/2007 the laws regarding Airsoft guns have changed for the UK. Under the VCRA Bill 2006 it is illegal to buy or sell an Airsoft gun to anyone under the age of 18 years. Under Section 36 of the V.C.R Act it is a criminal offence to alter the appearance or paint in a colour of an imitation firearm to make it into a realistic firearm.

AGE RESTRICTIONS WHEN BUYING AN AIRSOFT BB GUN

The minimum age you can purchase an Airsoft BB Gun is 18 years.

AGE RESTRICTIONS WHEN BUYING BB PELLETS AND ACCESSORIES

There is no age restriction when buying BB pellets or other accessories. However items such as GAS CANS, CO2 CAPSULES, SMOKE GRENADES and FLASH BANGS may have an 18 years restriction applied.

MINIMUM AGE YOU CAN OWN OR FIRE AN AIRSOFT BB GUNS

There is no age restriction to own or to operate an Airsoft BB Gun. It is within the law for a person that is 18 years or over to purchase a two-tone (non-black) Airsoft BB Gun and gift it to a person that is under the age of 18 years of age to own and operate. So, a parent can buy a two-tone airsoft gun and give it to their child to use or keep regardless of their age. We recommend that an adult should supervise persons under the age of 14 years.

BUYING A TWO-TONE AIRSOFT BB GUN (bright orange, green, blue or clear)

Anyone 18 years of age or over may buy an Airsoft BB Gun without any background checks. If you are buying online you will be required to tick a box to confirm that you are 18 years of age or over. If you are buying from our shop or from our stand at a show we may need to see ID for age confirmation.

BUYING A (RIF) REALISTIC IMITATION FIREARM (black, tan, gold or silver)

Since October 2007 you can only buy a realistic imitation firearm (one that looks like a real gun i.e. black, tan, gold, silver) if you meet one of the following conditions:

  • You have a current UKARA membership
  • You have a current UKAPA membership
  • You are a member of a fully insured skirmish site
  • You are a member of a properly insured historical re-enactment group or society
  • You are a film, television or theatre production company
  • You are (or are acting on behalf of) a museum
  • You are a Crown Servant in pursuance of your Crown duties

You will be required to select one of the above at checkout plus supply relevant information such as a membership number or documentation to confirm you meet the criteria.

If you cannot meet any of these criteria, you can still buy an imitation firearm, one which PRINCIPLE COLOUR is significantly different from that of a real firearm i.e. bright orange, green, blue etc.

If a black gun (RIF) is ordered by mistake, a £20 handling fee will be charged before a refund is issued. No charge will be added if an alternative two-tone gun is supplied.

TWO-TONE GUNS

If you cannot meet any of the above criteria for a RIF, you can still buy an Airsoft BB Gun, one which PRINCIPLE COLOUR is significantly different from that of a real firearm i.e. bright orange, green, blue, clear etc.

REPLACING A RIF PISTOL OR GUN WITH A BLUE TWO TONE

If an order is received for an all-black, tan, gold or silver gun/pistol and we do not receive the relevant requested information within 5 working days, Just BB Guns will supply the same gun or pistol but in two-tone blue to comply with UK law. If the gun you ordered is not available in blue an alternative will be supplied to the same or greater value. If you do not wish to keep the replacement, you must return it back to us at your own cost and a £20 handling fee will be charged before the refund is issued.

RECON GUNS

Recon (reconditioned/refurbished) Airsoft guns and pistols have a 7-day warranty from when you receive the product. Recon guns are complete with magazine and accessories included in the new product. We have highly trained skilled Airsoft technical staff that repair and test these guns and pistols to make sure that they are in perfect working order when they are dispatched.

BONEYARD GUNS

BONEYARD pistols and guns are supplied without accessories that may be shown. What are Bone Yard Items? These are products that are defected, damaged or refunded items made available at various times. Why would you buy a Bone Yard item? If you are tech-savvy or handy, Bone Yard items are often easy to repair into fully functioning products. They also have a high resell value as parts and many of our customers buy Bone Yard items for spare parts. Bone Yard replicas are the very best 1:1 scale replicas money can buy, and are great for film production and pretend play. Disclaimer: Bone Yard items are sold less than cost and are sold as is. Bone Yard items are NOT brand new or in perfect condition. Contents may not match website images and will not come with parts and accessories that a brand-new item would include. All sales are final and there will be no returns, warranty or guarantee on any Bone Yard items.

ORDERING AND PAYING

3 easy ways to order and pay:

We have a 100% secure online shopping cart and all payments are processed via EPDQ from Barclays Bank and the very secure PayPal service. We do not keep any payment information at any time. Phone payments are destroyed via shredding as soon as the payment has been processed.

We only accept £GBP Sterling, if you pay with an alternative currency account and your payment is accepted we do NOT accept responsibility for any currency conversion differences. This includes but is not limited to; purchasing, delivery costs and refunds.

DESPATCHING ORDERS

From receipt of order, we aim to dispatch your order the next WORKING day. If you order on a weekend or on a bank holiday your order will be despatched on the next WORKING day.

DELIVERY

The delivery should be calculated on the delivery service selected at checkout from the day we dispatched your order. Please do not include weekends or bank holidays when calculating the delivery time. If your order includes a painted gun, this can add up to 2 weeks to your dispatch date.

Example 1: Ordered Tuesday on a 1-2 working day delivery service = Dispatched Wednesday to you on Thursday latest Friday.
Example 2: Ordered Friday on a 1-2 working day delivery service = Dispatched Monday to you on Tuesday latest Wednesday.
Example 3: Ordered a gun to be painted Monday on a 1-2 day delivery service = Dispatched 7 days later after painting – Monday to you on Tuesday latest Wednesday i.e. 1-2 days after the time allowed for painting.

If you order by 1pm, the dispatch will be the same day. ie. Order by 1pm on Tuesday, delivery to you on Thursday. Order after 1pm on Tuesday, delivery more likely to be Friday.

We are now running a special delivery service on a Saturday, but will only deliver on a Saturday if you select that option when you ‘Checkout’.

Please allow up to 3 working days from the day of expected delivery before contacting us. You can track your delivery via our website and the courier’s website via your confirmation email.

UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES

A parcel might be returned as undeliverable for several reasons:

  • The address is incorrect or outdated. Usually, the courier returns the package to us. Double-check the address carefully when placing your order.
  • Our system doesn’t recognise the way an address was entered.
  • You used a restricted address. If you send the order to a prison, correctional facility, or similar institution, the products and/or the carrier responsible for delivery may be subject to specific restrictions.
  • The carrier attempted delivery but failed. Most of our carriers make more than one attempt to deliver a parcel. If they can’t deliver your parcel, they’ll return it to us.
  • The recipient refused the delivery. A person who isn’t expecting the delivery and refuses a parcel if they believe it’s being delivered to them by mistake.

We can’t re-dispatch orders that carriers return to us as undeliverable. If you still want to purchase items that were undeliverable, place a new order on our website.

If you suspect that your order can’t be delivered as addressed and you haven’t received confirmation of its return or refund four weeks after the estimated delivery date, please contact us.

In all undelivered circumstances where the parcel is returned to us, a delivery charge will be deducted before a refund is issued. The delivery charge is only to cover the courier’s charge to deliver it back to us, and there is no re-stocking charge.

MISSING, INCORRECT OR DAMAGED ITEMS

If an item is missing, incorrect or damaged in your order, please contact us within 7 days and let us know exactly what is missing or wrong with your order. Please remember to include your order number within your message as this will help us speed up the search for your order details. After 7 days, we would not take any claim for missing items.

CANCELLATION OF ORDER

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you buy goods from us online or by phone, your consumer rights entitle you to cancel your order and obtain a full refund if you request one within 14 days after delivery of the goods. With the exception of reconditioned or painted products, to which statutory cancellation rights do not apply. The item must be returned UNOPENED and UNUSED!

BATTERY AND CHARGER WARNING AND DISCLAIMER

Take proper precautions when handling all batteries and chargers, but especially Lithium-ion (Li-ion) /Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries, as they are different than NiMH or NiCd batteries! Failure to follow our Important Warning and Disclaimer instructions can result in severe or permanent damage to battery, cause serious personal injury, or lead to fire. By purchasing a battery or chargers, the buyer/user agrees that he/she has read and understood the safety precautions on this page, that he/she bares full responsibilities of these risks, and does not hold Just BB Guns or its distributors responsible for any accidents, injury to persons, or property damage that may occur. Damage from misuse or modifications will void your warranty and can cause serious injury.

FAULTY PRODUCTS

Any item that is faulty at the point of sale may be returned for replacement or refund:

– WITHIN 28 DAYS from the original date of delivery for REPAIR or REPLACEMENT
– AFTER 28 DAYS but WITHIN 6 MONTHS from the original date of delivery for REPAIR under warranty
– AFTER 6 MONTHS all REPAIRS are chargeable to the customer

Faulty products must have the original receipt and be returned complete with all components and in the original packaging. All products are carefully inspected by our experts and items that are considered wear and tear will not be accepted as a manufacturing fault.

VOID WARRANTY on all guns that have the following:

– Opened or tampered with items – Incorrect oil or lubricants used
– Non Airsoft GAS or CO2 used
– Low quality or re-used BB pellets used in gun or magazine
– Modified or painted guns or accessories
– Badly maintained gun including dirt on outer gun or within internal parts
– Incorrect battery or non-compatible charger
– Overcharging of battery or power surge to charger
– Damage caused by impact including dropping or hit from BB pellet
– Magazine broken spring due to over winding

GAS MAGAZINES may not operate correctly in cold weather or when during continuous firing. Most GAS Airsoft BB guns are recommended for use in temperatures above 15C. If your GAS gun is not operating correctly we recommend that you warm both the gun and magazine by placing it on a radiator. It is worth trying different gas makes to see which one works best for your gun. You can also try a repair gas for leaking mag seals. This issue is not covered under our warranty and most modern GAS pistols are designed to work in most weather conditions.
Your statutory rights in respect of faulty, damaged or missing items or goods which are not as described are not affected.

RETURNING A PRODUCT

Returning products to us is simple, however, we can only receive items if you follow the guidelines below:

  • Send us an email or go to our Support Form
  • Please provide as much information as possible on the form
  • One of the support team will then acknowledge your email
  • Our support team will then give you a returns number via email
  • You need to pay for the postage and then organise a postage refund separately if entitled
  • You must send your items to us via TRACKED/RECORDED/SIGNED FOR delivery
  • Do not forget to include the returns number on the outside and inside of the package plus your name, address and contact info
  • We must receive your item back within 14 days of the first email being raised
  • We will then do our best to notify you when we have received your item
  • We will notify you via email of our findings and our action

GETTING YOUR ITEM BACK

If your returned item is NOT found to be faulty, or is not in ‘as new’ condition, and once we have informed you we will not refund, replace or give store credit you have 60 days in which to make arrangements to collect or pay for postage before the item becomes legally the property of Trimex UK Ltd (Just BB Guns).

REFUNDS FOR ITEMS

Refunds for goods will be processed using the same means of payment used for the initial transaction. Refunds can take up to 14 days from the point that we receive the goods back from you. If you cancel your order before goods have been sent to you, we will process your refund no later than 14 days after the date upon which you informed us about your decision to cancel your order.

REFUNDS FOR POSTAGE

– Cancellation of order within 7 days – NO REFUND
– Faulty product within 28 days – FULL REFUND

– Faulty product within 28 days – FULL REFUND (to the value of £7.50)
– Faulty product over 28 days – NO REFUND

In all cases, you will need to request a refund via a Support Ticket.

The start and end date will be clearly marked on the marketing material together with instructions of how to enter. By entering you are agreeing to the information within the marketing material and grant permission for us to publish your name and area you are from as the winner, both online and in print. Personal information will never be shared with any outside agencies and we will work within the data protection act.

PROMOTIONAL CODES

We use promotional codes for both online marketing and store credit. Promotional codes can end at any time without prior notice. Codes issued to individuals for discount or store credit will have a maximum of one year before expiring.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

The website stock availability and our office support system is from the same stock database. If in the unlikely event that a product shows in stock but is actually out of stock in the warehouse, we will not know this until the point of picking, roughly two hours after the dispatched notification. As soon as we are aware of a problem we will email and/or call to discuss the shortfall in the order.

SAFETY

No gun should be carried in a public place unless in transit when it should be unloaded and placed in a bag. Guns must NOT be concealed on one’s person, or pointed or fired at another human or animal. Safety glasses and other protective clothing should always be worn when operating or viewing the firing of an Airsoft BB gun.

FPS RESTRICTIONS

FPS UPDATE 18/10/2011 – UK Airsoft established at 1.3 joules (approx. 374FPS/.2g bb) for full auto and 2.5 joules (approx 519FPS) for single/semi sniper or pistol. Please note: each skirmish site will have different FPS limits on their games. This UPDATE is only to inform you of the maximum legal limits.

ORDERING AND DELIVERY TO OUTSIDE THE UK

All products ordered from outside the UK will be tested before shipping. This is to confirm that they are in full working order when leaving our distribution centre. Non UK orders will have the same 7-day cooling-off period as orders within the UK, except we cannot refund the original shipping costs on any orders outside of the UK. Items that develop a fault within 28 days may be returned to us for repair or replacement. No delivery costs will be refunded for non UK faulty items and an additional delivery cost may be required to send out the repaired or replacement item to you. Due to the nature of our products we cannot give any warranty for products more than 28 days old, however, you may return the item to us for repair at your own cost. Returns cannot be accepted from outside of the UK unless they have been returned via our online support system and a copy of the original order is enclosed and the Ticket Number is clearly displayed on the outside of your package. ORDERING OUTSIDE OF THE EU

As soon as you buy a product from a country outside of the EU, then you effectively become an importer and are liable to Customs and Excise Duty payments. The goods may be held by the Customs Authority at entry, pending the payment of duty and tax. Customs officers will examine packages to check for prohibited or restricted goods – it is your responsibility to ensure that the products you have purchased are not prohibited in your country or region. As a company, our responsibility ends when the order to a non EU country leaves our premises. It is your responsibility to communicate with the Customs in your region to retrieve your order.
