it has a RIS rail on the underside of the barrel that will fit most attachments like torches lasers etc. you could probably even get a rail that wraps around it to attach a sight on the top if you really wanted as well

no lol king gas mag wont work in co2 verson it will mess up the insides because there slightly differnt to gas verson because it has differnt gas repeaters and others for the gun to work all so co2 works best in a warm envorment not cold so if your getting a mag for a co2 one get a co2 mag and co2 capsals

Yes the gas mag will work in the co2 version and visa versa this is the common nature of gas bb pistols. Howether some co2 guns are specialy sooted for the co2s higher presure so if you have the gas version try the co2 at your own risk howether it should work. Note only get the co2 versoin if you live in a colder inviromen because ther is only a 20 fps diffrence and that wont determine the diffrence wether you are target shooting ore in a skirmish. If you live in a hot enviroment the co2 might lower the life span of the gun. Because of the quality of this gun co2 should last just as long.

CO2 doesn't work with this model, you would need the CO2 model. Hope this helps :)

The Hi - Capa 38 looks great but the HG170 is everything you could practically want from a gun. It has higher FPS, greater range, accuracy and is a much more sturdy gun, larger magazines and to top it all off, costs the same AND is in stock. I have this gun and regularly use it in skirmishes and it easily matches, if not outperforms all the other guys rifles. 100% reccommendation for this gun. The Hi- Capa will give you good looks. This gun gives you everything else AND still looks and feels amazing!

I bought this gun a while back and it hasn't given me any problems. It looks similar to a Sig 226 but isn't identical, I hope they bring in a Sig 2022, that would be great and well worth the purchase

@ airsoft boy, You don't really need to fill up the mag to the max coz you'll be wasting CO2 like that also you'll have to release the CO2 at the end of day coz if you leave it in there the gas will be compressed and it will damage the mag and cause leaking which you don't want. You hold the CO2 bottle into mag for like 5 secs or so and that should last you around couple mags hopefully.

Hi folks, the HG170 Pistol is a great gun!
The gun is 95% metal, the ONLY plastic part to this gun is the orange handle grips, the rest of the gun i.e. Frame, Magazine, Barrel, Orange Slide, Hammer, Trigger, Saftey Switch etc is fully metal. It's a very heavy handgun and when i say heavy I mean twice as heavy as a G10 Repeater!
The firing range is 300+ FPS that means it will shoot a good distance with high impact.
I've tested this pistol on a coke can and it went through it. It does a fair bit of damage to shooting targets too so I recommend getting a large 2ft high by 1ft in width sized strong cardboard box and printing off targets of the internet and sticking them onto the cardboard box with a piece of wood inside it to catch your BB's (although I wouldn't recommend re-using BB's again because they could become disfigured after using them the first time and may damage your pistol in the near future) and it will stop them from going all over your garden.
Use 6mm Bulldog BB's as they are also great quality and you will have hours of fun with this gun!

This is a fantastic sidearm has great range and fps only fire off about three clips test firing so far till my next game but no problems at all, really smooth,clean shooting I highly reccomend

I got this gun couple of days ago, It is by far the best gun i have ever bought. I bought another semi automatic gun sometime ago, it was the Sigma sw40f. It was a good gun but after 2/3 weeks, the end of the slide snapped off and was rendered useless, this was despite me maintaining it regularly. I looked on the internet and this seemed to be a common problem. But with the HG 170, you are paying £15 more for a gun that the build quailty it just undoubted, just for that little bit extra you are getting a 90% metal gun. Feels excellent to fire and just to hold. I cant really describe further how good this gun is, its on another level. Thinking of buying a Gas Gun ? Save that little bit extra and get allot more for your money with the HG 170 !!!

A silencer can go onto ANY gun with minimal modifications. I know as i do this to all my teams guns regularly.

not true, you will need and threaded barrel and silencer to fit the gun. Only guns applicable with silencers can have them, not ANY gun

tbh guys u can put a silencer on ANY gun. no it wont fire without gas in it. and finally kickass gas should be fine, dont go using propane on this!!!

NOT A GLOCK! ! ! ! still.............IT'S SOOOOO COOL! ! ! ! ! ! Using Kickass or Green gas won't make much difference. The gun won't explode if you use the wrong one, stop crying. Both types will work as the bottles has the same nozzle. Kickass is better, but might wear the gun down quicker. DON'T PANIC! ! ! The gun is great quality and will last you years if you care for it properly. ( that means not dropping it in mud, or onto the concrete, obviously ) GET ONE NOW! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

UK LAW AND REGULATIONS REGARDING AIRSOFT GUNS
Since October 2007 you can only buy a realistic imitation firearm (one that looks like a real gun) if you are at least 18 years old and meet one of the following conditions.
- You are a REGISTERED airsofter with membership of an insured skirmish site. To be registered you must attend a properly organised and insured airsoft site and play for at least three days over a period of not less than two months. Even if you attend and play the three days in your first week, UK Law requires that two months pass from the first day attended before you can legally be registered.
- You have a current UKARA membership.
- You are a member of a property insured historical re-enactment group or society.
- You are a film, television or theatre production company.
- You are (or are acting on behalf of) a museum.
- You are a Crown Servant in pursuance of your Crown duties.
- Gun is being sent to a non-UK Address.
If you cannot meet any of these criteria, you can still buy an imitation firearm, one which PRINCIPLE COLOUR is significantly different from that of a real firearm – i.e. bright orange, green, blue etc.
The VCRA 2006 concerns itself with sale, manufacture and import ONLY. If you buy an imitation firearm and either gift it to someone else, or allow them to use it – regardless of their age – you are not contravening the Act. So, a parent can buy a 2 tone airsoft gun and give it to their child to use or keep.
