This SR36C is made mostly of polymer much like the real version of the gun and 3 metal rails are attached to the hand guard for attaching accessories, the hand guard also houses the battery. The gun features a folding stock which is great for transportation or close range engagements; the folding stock is very solid and latches very securely without any creaks or wobbles.
The SR36 features a functioning charging handle which reveals the hop up for easy adjustment on the fly. Adjustable iron sights are attached to the railed carry handle that can also accommodate optics such as red dots and scopes. I have this gun and in answer to bbgunsareawsome the 8.4v 1600 is the battery i use as it gives a great rate of fire and lasts for about 5-6 hours of good usage.

thughes it should give you a manual on how long to do it. Also you can tell by feeling the battry, if it's hot or quite warm its charged. Shoulden't take more than a couple of hours.

it takes around an hour and a half to charge fully and thats how you get max power any longer will cause it just to over heat any more than 5 hours will kill battery dont charge over night i want this gun though but im getting the vsr 11 for my bday soon and i want to by some more guns after i have £300 and getting more from paper round and birthday and xmas money

I think that this gun is the "BOMB" but i do love the src Mp5A4 so im gettin that insted becuase allthough they are exactly alike in Fps and Range but the look of the mp5 looks much more comfortable.But i must say my m8 has this g36 and it is good so id reccomend this and the Mp5A4 to anyone who is an airsoft skirmisher.

As per the real G36C, this gun is made of nylon reinforced polymers. So plastic, but damn good plastic! + I own an SRC and after 8000 odd rounds I can vouch for quality internals

IMPORTANT INFO FOR ELECTRIC GUNS
Your gun may have a battery and mains charger included in the set.
The charger on some guns are supplied with a 2 pin plug and not a UK 3 pin plug. If this is the case you will need to purchase an adapter from us or any good DIY shop.
The charger supplied with many of the guns does not have a peak cut off built in, i.e. they will just keep charging the battery until the battery is destroyed and will not work.
To avoid this you should put the battery on charge for 1 hour and see if the battery is getting warm. The battery is charged when it feels warm to the touch. Never let the battery get hot; if it is getting hot take the battery off charge immediately.
UK LAW AND REGULATIONS REGARDING AIRSOFT GUNS
Since October 2007 you can only buy a realistic imitation firearm (one that looks like a real gun) if you are at least 18 years old and meet one of the following conditions.
- You are a REGISTERED airsofter with membership of an insured skirmish site. To be registered you must attend a properly organised and insured airsoft site and play for at least three days over a period of not less than two months. Even if you attend and play the three days in your first week, UK Law requires that two months pass from the first day attended before you can legally be registered.
- You have a current UKARA membership.
- You are a member of a property insured historical re-enactment group or society.
- You are a film, television or theatre production company.
- You are (or are acting on behalf of) a museum.
- You are a Crown Servant in pursuance of your Crown duties.
- Gun is being sent to a non-UK Address.
If you cannot meet any of these criteria, you can still buy an imitation firearm, one which PRINCIPLE COLOUR is significantly different from that of a real firearm – i.e. bright orange, green, blue etc.
The VCRA 2006 concerns itself with sale, manufacture and import ONLY. If you buy an imitation firearm and either gift it to someone else, or allow them to use it – regardless of their age – you are not contravening the Act. So, a parent can buy a 2 tone airsoft gun and give it to their child to use or keep.
FPS UPDATE 18/10/2011
UK Airsoft established at 1.3 joules (approx. 374FPS/.2g bb) for full auto and 2.5 joules (approx 519FPS) for single/semi sniper or pistol. Please note: each skirmish site will have different FPS limits on their games. This UPDATE is only to inform you of the maximum legal limits.
