The UTG (M56C) M3 shotgun is modelled after the well known Marui M3 Shorty which has been in service for several years. These unique pump action shotguns fire three BBs in one shot so these are actual airsoft “shotguns” and not just single shot airsoft guns that look like shotguns.
This multi-shot capability is accomplished by three separate barrels inside of the shotguns main outer barrel. Other multi-shot shotguns use just one inner barrel so the velocity and range of the BBs are far from consistent. When the UTG M3 shotgun is fired it sends three BBs streaking towards your target in spread pattern capable of taking out multiple targets.
The barrels are mated to a honeycomb of three pistons which are powered by dual overlapping main springs so each BB travels at the same velocity. They leave the barrel in a tight group no wider than a penny and gradually spread out for a real scattergun effect. Because of this they are not the best at long range engagements but will unleash havoc in close quarter scenarios. The tightness of the spread can be varied by changing the weight of the BB. For a wide spread use 0.20g BBs and for tighter spreads use the heavier .25g BBs.
Constructed out of heavy duty ABS with metal parts this shotgun is extremely solid. They used very few lead weights in this gun so it may be lighter than you would expect however do not let this fool you. The M3 is built like a tank. The pump action fits closely to the guide rails and is anchored to two metal action bars so when you rack the forearm it goes straight back without any flex. The butt pad, forearm and pistol grip also have a nice rubber like coating on them for extra grip. Metal parts include the magazine tube, front sling mount, loading gate, trigger and rear sling mount.
Its magazine looks exactly like a 12ga shotgun shell and is good for 10 x 3 shots. The shell is inserted into the loading port just forward of the trigger. True to its real steel, fire spitting counterpart, the UTG M3 packs a serious punch. Each BB is fired at 275 fps with the combined kinetic energy of 2.1 Joules. Needless to say this shotgun is devastating at close range.

Superb quality and weight to this shotgun. A great quality feel all round. Cartridge magazine works perfect and the power of this gun considering it shoots out 3 BB's at once is great. Surprisingly super accurate with tight groupings if you use 0.20 BB's. Pull back is something to get used to as it's tough but you'll appreciate this shotgun no matter what once you fire a few rounds out of it. Great fun.

i got this today and when i have tested it the fps is a lot higher than it says absolutely amazing weapon very accurate to say it is a relitively short barrel and it is a tri shot weapon very impressed

If your thinking of buy then read this. This gun is one of the best u can get for under £50. If your budget doesn't stretch this far but your looking for a good gun for friendly back garden bb wars then the. M58A and B are the best and most powerful gun you can get with out going over £100 with a whopping 400 fps.
Just to clear up some questions. Yes every thing on the gun that is black is metal, it only comes with one shell which holds 30 BBs so that's 10 shots. The whole gun is durable and strong so it can survive a good battering. This gun at range has a problem as the 3 BBs travel long is distances they can spread apart so I recomend you use this gun for bob wars with in 30-40m and under as the BBs can drop and colided as well
Over all a fantastic gun and well worth the £50 make sure you use high grade BBs bulldogs are the best 0.20g. I found that lower grade can get stuck and jam a barrel on the gun making it only 2 shots and waste BBs as they still get loaded into the chamber.

I had a d"eagle JT-3A couple of yrs ago simalar to this except it was single shot & full stock it was the most powerfull bb gun ive ever fired if this is anything like the JT-3A then watch out for it mine had the power to destroy bb ammo!HELLO MAN IN VIDEO EXCELLENT REVIEWS Are the groupings close enougth for target practice?

This gun is beyond brilliant, its deadly accurate and so powerful, i would highly reccomend it and i would suggest 0.2g bbs for a neat tight spread, 0.12 bbs if you want a wide blindfire spread and .28g if you really want to sting someone in CQB. also the d90h p90 is a good sidearm, the gravity feed is a bit of a down but .20 with it work really well :) hope i helped

I brought this gun of another website and i have to say it is amazing. however becaue of the way it is held together and because the tactical stock comes loose you do need to keep tightening it up from time to time. for this the makers of the gun say u need a 150 x 4mm hex key but i must say that i brought a 240mm hex key and there is only a bit left out the endo of the stock so i would say get a 240mm hex key. if u dnt buy it the gun will be hard to use and wobbles like mad. you can get these offline is the best hope as most hardeware storse dnt sell them. overal wicked gun and very powerfull. will leave purple marks if hit with it. accuracy is not to bad either.
