I bought this gun three and a half years ago and although i havent treated it with the utmost care, the gun functions the same if not better then it did originally and i must have fired about 5000 bbs off it. i would recommend this gun for all abilities, it is very accurate and has survived many battles with my mates. Epic gun.

this gun looks very good i like the way that it comes with a sniper scope looks more like a scout gun but i think the torch rail is a bit of a waist as not many shotguns need them since they are not good in range so why see them from far away but it good anyway i suppose i might have to pick one up for my self- Tactical Cryon

The have got this gun and it is amazing strong build quality the sight is really good once you have lined it up properly. The torch is really good too and i would recomend this gun to anyone. the oonly downfall is that 2 bbs wont shoot at the end so just turn it upside down and then load it then they work.

I have had the M47A2 for quite a while now.
I'm back to post a review:
After about 4-5 months, I have had the Hop-up turned off. I'm not sure about other makings of this gun, but after about 20 metres the (.20g) bb will spin upwards. I have needed to learn the guns 'path of fire', to which i spent a whole day just firing at targets, which i'll admit, was pretty fun :). The shot power is every little bit as it says (310 FPS) and the 'looks' are just amazing. The pump is now effortless to pull back, plus once pulling it back once, if you pull it back twice more before shot, It will fire 3 shots as apposed to 1. This is good for a close range fight. (It can also be good when someone is shooting at you, and you know the direction he/she is at, you just dont know the distance. The 3 shots will fire at 3 different distances, tripleing your chances of a 'luckshot'. The feel and the balance is also nicely detailed, but if anything the magazine is too small! I haven't checked yet, but i think they probably sell M47 magazines seperately somewhere, i reccommend buying a few of them.
All in all, great gun for it's price, very good in a 'non-serious BB war', Can be used very effectively as a sniper aswell, and using the Spin-up on the pellet i mentioned earlier can be used to your advantage, eg: spinning it round trees or under hedges etc. I have 7 BB guns in total, I have rated them all out of 70, and this 1 got 62! (My best got 67, which was the D92H, also known as the fully/semi automatic M16. Best Sniper/Shotgun for your money!

i love this gun just got here two days ago the sight is epic so is the power! (300-310) it can use .12 and .20 but i strongly reccamend .20 it goes great with the hop up/spin up, the pump its self is a little hard at first but then gets alot easier. The box comes with a torch, a red cross sight, a strap and some bbs.
first the torch its cheaply made but will do the job in the dark its just a little bit flimsy.
the red cross sight is pretty good all you need to do is adjust it a little bit a it will work its a great sight!
the stap is strong. period.
the bbs are good but not meny. buy more!
the mag,it hold 15 or 20 i forgot i suggest a spare one or a speed loader.
overall its a great gun very powerful and accurate it will hit the target only probs mag size over all 4.5/5

i ordered this gun on late sunday and it came on tuesday it does not come with a laser due to legal reasons the scope needs adjusting i have only just managed to get mine perfect its is really accurate powerful and overall well worth buying trust me this gun owns all just make sure you adjust the scope

Ammo that can be used are 0.12g and 0.20g. 0.20g will make it more accurate but i think it decreases the fps a tiny bit.
I would recommend 0.20g though

DO NOT pump the gun three times to make it fire like a shotgun because it can damage the piston and jam the gun. Therefore resulting in the gun breaking. this is a rifle not a shot gun if you want to make it fire like a shotgun do it at your guns risk

UK LAW AND REGULATIONS REGARDING AIRSOFT GUNS
Since October 2007 you can only buy a realistic imitation firearm (one that looks like a real gun) if you are at least 18 years old and meet one of the following conditions.
- You are a REGISTERED airsofter with membership of an insured skirmish site. To be registered you must attend a properly organised and insured airsoft site and play for at least three days over a period of not less than two months. Even if you attend and play the three days in your first week, UK Law requires that two months pass from the first day attended before you can legally be registered.
- You have a current UKARA membership.
- You are a member of a property insured historical re-enactment group or society.
- You are a film, television or theatre production company.
- You are (or are acting on behalf of) a museum.
- You are a Crown Servant in pursuance of your Crown duties.
- Gun is being sent to a non-UK Address.
If you cannot meet any of these criteria, you can still buy an imitation firearm, one which PRINCIPLE COLOUR is significantly different from that of a real firearm – i.e. bright orange, green, blue etc.
The VCRA 2006 concerns itself with sale, manufacture and import ONLY. If you buy an imitation firearm and either gift it to someone else, or allow them to use it – regardless of their age – you are not contravening the Act. So, a parent can buy a 2 tone airsoft gun and give it to their child to use or keep.
FPS UPDATE 18/10/2011
UK Airsoft established at 1.3 joules (approx. 374FPS/.2g bb) for full auto and 2.5 joules (approx 519FPS) for single/semi sniper or pistol. Please note: each skirmish site will have different FPS limits on their games. This UPDATE is only to inform you of the maximum legal limits.

Most BB and Airsoft Guns are supplied by the manufacturer with a small pack of cheap BBs included in the pack. We do not recommend you use these in your equipment as they can easily jam your weapon.
We strongly recommend using only Genuine BULLDOG BB Pellets in your weapon, which can be found here: Bulldog Pellets. Because of UK legislation, all orange airsoft bb guns will be supplied without laser, and all clear airsoft bb guns will be sent with laser if included in the gun set.
