The M83A2-A1 is a M4 style new generation airsoft electric BB gun. It is a high performance semi and full automatic machine gun. It uses 6mm BB ammo and has a large magazine for continuous use without constant reloading.
The gun also features a retractable stock to enable a good fit with all size users. This high powered automatic machine gun holds up to 40 rounds making it one of the best endurance guns available.
The M4 is the second most manufactured gun in the world (after the AK-47). Is is also very popular in the game Call of Duty 4. This should answer everyones questions. The accuracy is good, the power is pretty good and you can shoot for a good 3 and a half hours before having to charge, which takes about 1 and a half hours. The magazine has a great capacity aswell. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

@snipe£out FTW - Spin up or Hop up is where you can change how the bullet is shot by moving a cog or a slider which will put pressure on the top or the bottom of the bb pellet from inside the barrel so the bullet will fly up or shoot downwards - hope that helped Login to see Profile

jeddyfish, chris0948, airsoft master you do not cock this gun, the cocking mecanism a mock one but this gun has semi auto, semi means u pull the trigger and it fires one pellet, pull it again and it fires another pellet and so on and so forth, yes its a mock silancer and the battery lastes about 500 shots

this gun is really good the fps is'nt bad i'd estimate it at about 260-280 the accuracy and range are good to making it fairly good for skirmishes. The only problem is the low cap mags apart from that a great gun :).

got this gun, absolutly brilliant. If u do get it get two mags and use .12g for skirmishing and for filling up the full mag. Use .20g for accuracy and for semi auto, don't fill up a full mage of .20g, it will not fire all of them.

Ive got this gun it is amazing it is the best starter gun and for a pro the scope is good and the metal pin sites (1 plastic) are good for aiming i use it everyday and go skirmishing the mag is the only thing that lets it down it being like a m4 but good gun and great for garden and skirmish! Got this gun off the website so heres what its like. I comes in the colour it shows in the vidnot the pics (for me anyway!) Best to buy a spare mag too. the only problems are that you need to make sure you push in the metal clips when you put the rail covers back on or youll do what i did and damage the rails! and if the batteries low then semi auto jams a bit but to fix that you just spray full auto for a while. apart from that its a very good gun so i suggest buy it!!! this is an excellent gun. i got it as my first gun as my cousin got me into it. it is a good weight and feels great to hold plus it makes alot of noise when you shoot which i think is cool. the accesories are brilliant but i chose not to put the acog on because i prefer the normal sight and the carry handle. the extendable stock is brill as it has a lot of places to extend it to. as for the magizine, i would of liked if it had a higher capacity or it was a mechanical high cap, but i am going to purchase a plunger loader and an another mag for when i go skirmishing so i should be fine. a problem i had was that sometimes (but not all the time) when i was firing in semi auto, the bb would not feed through, but to solve this i just switched to full auto and fired a few then it worked as normal, but that is not a reason not to buy because it only takes a sec to solve. also, the select fire is awesome. any1 who likes guns should get this - i would reccomend it to newcommers and veterans alike, it really is a good gun. bought this gun a while ago,and didnt really expect much for the price.but....it is probably the best purchase i have ever made!its cheap,reliable,well made for the money,lots of extras,nice heavy weight,i painted mine all black and looks awsome!but most of all it is sooooo fun!still puts a massive grin on my face every time i go full auto!there are a few drawbacks though...it has a small amount of body flex,the scope is a little pointless unless u mount it where the carry handle goes,its not accurate-but does that matter when your spraying a whole clip at full auto at ur mate!!!its not as powerfull as a standard spring handgun.but none of this matters because its 40 quid!!!!highly recommended.what you have to ask yourself is - can you afford not to buy this???!!! I have this gun it is very good. use .20g bbs outdors but you can use 0.12's inside. the bb's that come with the gun are not good as they have blocked my gun alot. i have started to use bulldog 0.20 g and they havent blocked by gun once

i have this gun and its great not the most hard core gun ever but for the money its amazing the silencer is ok more of a fashion accessery and the scope im gonna mount on my sm w3000 wen i get it but its great for shooting friends and small time skirmishing also only use .12 not .20 works much better

delivered today this gun comes with the black body for those questioning about that. this is a sick gun however be carefull with the siderails you remove to get to the battery they are a bit flimsy (the metalt bit) mine bent the second i went to put the battery in so the rail doesnt lock on but thats ok coz i can use the torch to secure it and thats the best place for the torch i think Login to see Profile

To the father having a debate, I am 15 and just before my 15th birthday my grandad took me out onto the field at the back of his house and let me shoot it at his barn. He then bought me a pistol and supervised me while I shot a peice of polystyrene. I am what people may call "immature" but when I had my first pistol in my hand I realised that I had to be serious, if you feel your sun is responsible enough to fire a potentially dangerous weapon you should probably buy him a less powerful pistol first. Since my first pistol I have bought two more and a rifle, and I am at the point where he leaves me, with my 9 year old brother and we shoot pots off walls. Make sure you have an appropriate place to shoot in and make sure there is a backdrop, but tnto so clsoe that the rebounding bb's could hit someone in the eye.
At the end of the day I think you should buy him the G36c as it is single fire and it is alot safer to learn with.

To the father who is having a debate with his son. I am 15 and you can use a bb gun what ever age you are. The law says 18 to buy not to use. my Dad allowed me to get a £135 airsoft gun as airsoft(bb guns) is also a sport and you can be as young as 14 to play it. Hope this helped you

This gun is not the same colour as the picture. I would recommend this as a first gun - as it is my first one! Incredibly good feel to it the only problem is that the reticule on the sight is so low that the front sight blocks it. RECOMMENDED FIVE STARS *****

I've had this for quite a while, it fires .12g perfect without problem, but when i put in .20g it wud fire one then it would stop but one would role out the barrel. Does anyone else have this problem with .20g?

Got this gun a couple of days ago and still looking at all the stuff it can do. The mag is 42 rounds, this guns weight is really realistic its heavy. The accuracy is great! i ordered 3000 pellets for it and got 4000! Lol! this gun is really great!! Bought this gun a few days ago along with the m149k and i must say i am very impressed with the fire rate. The gun smashes others guns out of the comptetion because of its fire rate, also it packs a punch. I would advise this gun over other guns purely because of the quality, the only real problem was that the silencer had snapped off but that was my fault, other than that gun is Ace! 9/10

@ Klipperz never put a higher voltage without upgrading the motor to a full metal version that is majorly strong as a higher voltage makes it shoot faster but it can burn out the motor/gearing system.
@ Super Man this gun is made of highly shock resistant abs plastic and is good
@ lolwut i do believe the cross hairs on the scope sit just on the iron sights but it does limit visibility. i suggest using the detachable scope on another gun. hope this helps

i just got the gun today and it is wounderful for the price the plastic it solid looks cool quite light can be used with alot of attachments shoots pretty well for a automatic gun but is quite loud though. the scope will take a little bit of time to set up the torch is quite worrying as well you put batteries in it it will start to heat up slowly so the torch is not reccomended but you can still use it and it looks cool, the ORANGE barrel extension looks awful its a realy bright orange and dosent do owunders for the accuracy but the silencer is pretty good looks cool and makes the gun a little more accurate but you wont notice the difference unless you look for it.

bought this gun a while ago,and didnt really expect much for the price.but....it is probably the best purchase i have ever made!its cheap,reliable,well made for the money,lots of extras,nice heavy weight,i painted mine all black and looks awsome!but most of all it is sooooo fun!still puts a massive grin on my face every time i go full auto!there are a few drawbacks though...it has a small amount of body flex,the scope is a little pointless unless u mount it where the carry handle goes,its not accurate-but does that matter when your spraying a whole clip at full auto at ur mate!!!its not as powerfull as a standard spring handgun.but none of this matters because its 40 quid!!!!highly recommended.what you have to ask yourself is - can you afford not to buy this???!!!
