This is the Colt’s M203 Grenade Launcher, lightweight, single-shot, breech-loaded 40mm weapon designed especially for attachment to the M4 Carbine and the M16A2/A4 Rifle. It creates a versatile combination weapon system capable of firing both 5.56mm rifle ammunition as well as the complete range of 40mm high explosive and special purpose ammunition.
The most commonly used ammunition for the M203 is the M406 antipersonnel round, which has a lethal radius of five metres, and the M433 multi-purpose round which, in addition to having fragmentation effects, will penetrate up to 3 in. (7.6 cm) of armor plate. Many other types of ammunition are available, such as buckshot, tear gas, and various signal rounds, which greatly increase the versatility of this outstanding weapon.
The receiver of the M203 is made of high strength, forged aluminum alloy, which offers it extreme ruggedness, yet keeps weight to a minimum. A complete self-cocking firing mechanism, including barrel latch, trigger and positive safety lever is included in the receiver, allowing the M203 to be operated as a completely independent weapon, even though attached to the M4 Carbine or the M16A2/A4 Rifle.
The barrel, which is also made of a high strength aluminum alloy, slides forward in the receiver to accept a round of ammunition, and slides rearward to automatically lock in the closed position, ready to fire.

Everyone. the M203 Grenade launcher is designed to fit M4 type-weapons. With modification it can fit other types. The chances of getting it on a G36C Are quite low, however it would fit the normal G36, considering rail space.

oh yeah, so it does fit rails. i didn't see it had two different mounts supplied.

I have this and i must say, it is the most fun thing i have ever bought ! I have mine mounted on my M16 (look at my profile) the range when it is fully loaded is about 30m if you aim higher than your target, and the FPS is about 250, which is very good considering it shoot 18 at once. Come to think of it, this is not really a grenade launcher at all, its just a big "Airsoft" shotgun. But if you put a "Nerf" rocket in the barrel and just shout the gas without any ammo, it goes for miles ! ! ! !
Well worth the money, advice from a 15-year-old, get one NOW ! ! ! !
P.S It will fit on any gun the has a 20mm RIS rail on the bottom e.g. The M805 pro, the M83A1/B1, But NOT the G36c types, they is a little sling mount that gets in the way, but it can be removed so no problem. :)
to the justbbguns team, i think that you should start making, and selling custom guns, i think that the m4 in this m203 vid would be a cool gun to sell as a custom.
eggzy: this does indeed fit onto rails as you can see in one of the pictures clearly shown above it has a rail attachment unit ... the only time it will only fit to m4/m16's is when you are using the standard handgrip and barrell rings ... also it fires at a standard 330-350 fps which is ideal for indoor play

Airsoft grenade launchers work by releasing pressurized gas stored in the rear of the grenade module. The release of this gas propels the BBs out of the multiple nozzles at the end, towards anything unfortunate enough to be infront of the launcher ^__^ B4 anyone asked. + i'm guessing that's the SRC m4, why use a £120 m203 on a springer? :3

This does NOT attach to rails. It attaches to an m4/ m16 outer barrel. It will ONLY fit m4/ m16s, not g36s, ak47s etc. Looks pretty cool.
Before everyone asks how it works and will it fit a certain gun, first read the description, that is why it is there. And it works in the same way it does on a common video game e.g. Cod. All you need is a rail on the bottom of your gun, some bb's and some gas which you can buy on this sight. Hope this helps everyone.
